Penguins’ Crosby scores 100 points

Penguins center Sidney Crosby became the first player in the NHL to reach 100 points this season, scoring a goal in the third period against the New York Rangers today at Mellon Arena.

It was only his third point in the last seven games and his third goal in the last 19.

Crosby, 19, leads the league in scoring.
