So many of those favorite TV shows had a theme song. The words to "Beverly Hillbillies," "The Brady Bunch," "Green Acres" are locked in our memories forever.

We think the great shows the Penguins have given us deserve a theme song as well.

The Trib is inviting readers to celebrate the Pens' drive to the Stanley Cup by writing a hockey fight song to the music from a popular TV show.

Choose whatever TV theme song you like -- perhaps "The Monkees," "The Flintstones" or "The Addams Family."

Add you own words -- and become another footnote in the Pens' history.

The most creative entry will receive a Penguins jersey and a collection of Pens paraphernalia.

Two runners-up will each receive a Pens T-shirt and ball cap.

Be sure to include your name, address and telephone number. And don't forget to tell us which TV theme song your lyrics should be sung to.

Only those within the Pittsburgh Trib circulation area are eligible for prizes.

Send your entry to:

Penguins Theme Song, Pittsburgh Tribune-Review, D.L. Clark Building, 503 Martindale St., Pittsburgh, PA 15212 or via e-mail .

Entries must be received by 3 p.m. Friday, May 23.
