Iowa (11-6, 3-3 Big Ten) vs. Penn State (5-13, 0-7)

When: 8 p.m. Where: Bryce Jordan Center, University Park TV: Fox Sports Net Pittsburgh Radio : WEAE-AM (1250), WCNS-AM (1480), WMBS-AM (590) and the Penn State Radio Network Coaches : Penn State , Jerry Dunn (eighth year, 115-113); Iowa, Steve Alford (fourth year, 67-50, 12th overall, 223-127). Probable lineups : Penn State: F Robert Summers, Fr., 4.6 ppg, 4.1 rpg; F Jan Jagla, So., 8.8, 7.3; G DeForrest Riley, Fr., 8.2, 2.4; G Brandon Watkins, Sr., 13.9, 2.5; G Sharif Chambliss, Jr., 14.3, 2.2 Iowa: F Glen Worley, Jr., 12.4, 4.8; F Greg Brunner, Fr., 8.8, 5.8; C Sean Sonderleiter, Jr., 7.2, 4.0; G Jeff Horner, Fr., 9.6, 4.7; G Chauncey Leslie, Sr., 16.3, 4.9. The skinny: Iowa starting center Jared Reiner sprained his knee Jan. 25 against Ohio State, and is not expected to play. He already had been playing the previous two weeks with a broken hand. Reiner is second in the Big Ten in rebounding, averaging 8.8 per game. Key matchup: In order to take advantage of Reiner’s absence, Penn State must get a big performance from Jagla. Worth noting: Iowa has won four of the past six meetings in the series.
