Desmond Brentley completed 12 of 14 passes for 308 yards and three touchdowns, leading No. 1 Perry (2-0) to a 38-0 City League win. Aundre Wright caught three passes for 123 yards and two touchdowns, while Gary Nolen caught five balls for 85 yards. Jared Williams rushed for 85 yards, including a 48-yard touchdown. Perry limited Carrick (0-2) to 49 total yards.
