A person was reported killed in a collision on northbound Route 28 near the Tarentum exit early Wednesday morning.
Allegheny County emergency dispatch received a call at 3:49 a.m. Officials from the Allegheny County Medical Examiner's officer were still at the scene at 7 a.m.
State police are in charge of the investigation.
