Phipps party celebrates new Center for Sustainable Landscapes
Garden Party
Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens ensured glasses were half full for its Wine Under Glass fete on Friday, as guests settled in for the night with co-chairs Dr.Bill andPride Winkenwerder.
Meanwhile, Attack Theatre saw to it that imaginations were stretched with sporadic performances that defined the word “limber,” while the likes of director Richard Piacentini, board prexy Susan Golomb, Athena Sarris, Bob andJane Krizner, Paul Gitnik, Sue andScott Lammie, and Bonnie Levine made the rounds.
Glasses in the air for a good reason, toasts were in order to celebrate its new Center for Sustainable Landscapes while guests displayed an understandable amount of flower envy thanks to the thousands of chrysanthemums and autumn blooms on display as part of the Fall Flower Show exhibits.
