Two men claiming to be water company employees ransacked a South Huntingdon Township woman's home this week.

State police at Belle Vernon said the men went to the home of a 77-year-old woman in Yukon at 10:55 a.m. Tuesday. One persuaded the woman to accompany him to the basement while the other rummaged through her house.

The men fled when one of them was confronted by the woman's son.

An investigation is ongoing.
