INDIANAPOLIS (Triple-A, 54-53) lost, 3-2, at home against Charlotte (White Sox). Brian Bixler hit a two-run double. Brad Eldred went 0 for 4. Starting pitcher Marty McLeary gave up two runs on eight hits in five innings, while losing pitcher Franquelis Osoria gave up the game-winning run in the ninth inning.

ALTOONA (Double-A, 55-50) lost, 6-3, at Akron (Indians). Steve Pearce went 1 for 3 with a double and two runs scored. Andrew McCutchen went 1 for 3 with a double and a run scored. Losing pitcher Jason Roach gave up five runs -- two earned -- on six hits in four innings.

LYNCHBURG (High-A, 16-19) won, 4-3, at Myrtle Beach (Braves). Brad Corley went 2 for 4 with a solo home run. Ulyses Davenport went 2 for 4 with a double and an RBI single. Winning pitcher Brian Holliday pitched two hitless innings in relief.

HICKORY (Low-A, 23-14 second half) had the day off.

STATE COLLEGE (Single-A, Short-Season, 19-19) won, 3-2, at home against Auburn (Blue Jays). Matt Cavagnaro hit a two-run double. Austin McClune went 3 for 3, while Justin Byler went 2 for 4 with a run scored. Winning pitcher Dionis Rodriguez pitched three innings in relief, allowing one run on five hits.

BRADENTON (Rookie, 13-19) had its game postponed.
