Pirates just keep sinking

Mr. Nutting, I truly do not even know where to begin.

Every other franchise that has had bad seasons eventually has made changes and bounced back. This organization has sunk to depths never seen before.

General manager Dave Littlefield has done nothing to improve this team. Every other team in Major League Baseball has three or four top-notch prospects champing at the bit for their chance. The Pirates always have their best in Double-A, and then their start fades.

After watching the first game of the series against the St. Louis Cardinals, I am almost speechless. Ronny Paulino has to be the laziest player in the major leagues. His complete lack of effort to catch a foul ball that dropped at his feet was as pathetic of a display I've seen a pro athlete make. To top it off, the very next play he drops a throw home that would have resulted in an out. He has done this time and time again this year.

After the inning, he comes in the dugout and smirks at Jose Castillo.

Where's manager Jim Tracy• He allows this circus to continue. I've seen enough of him and the inept coaching staff to last a lifetime. Paulino needs to catch the next bus to Indianapolis. Maybe there he'll not take things for granted.

This team needs to be gutted from Littlefield down. There is very little major-league talent on the roster. They don't know how to win, and it's starting to look like they don't care if they win.

The fans are being cheated. It's tough to even turn on the TV anymore. Bob Nutting, step up or step out and sell to someone who does care about a winning team.
