Pirates fans realize Bob Nutting is a bottom-line guy. He wants to make money and we want a winner. I believe it is possible to do both.
Nutting should sell his controlling interest to Mario Lemieux. The Penguins have the best marketing organization in all of pro sports. Imagine what could happen if the Pens and Pirates were marketed together.
Nutting could still be part-owner. He'd make money, and Mario and company would bring a winner to the long-suffering Bucs fans.
