An oil and gas industry executive and the head of a technology company nominated to fill alumni posts on the University of Pittsburgh’s board of trustees.

The board’s nominating committee on Wednesday recommended that Roberta A. Luxbacher a 1978 engineering graduate, and Thomas E. Richardsa 1976 economics graduate, be approved at the board’s annual meeting on June 24.

Luxbacher, of Fairfax, V., is vice president of Global Industrial and Wholesale, Exxon Fuels Marketing Company of Exxon Mobil.Richards, of Vernon Hills, I, is president and chief operating officer of CDW, LLC, a provider of technology products and services.
