Two thousand foodies descended on Heinz Field on June 8, ready and willing to be tempted out of good behavior for Pittsburgh Magazine's 26th annual Best Restaurants party. Inside the East Club Lounge and the Great Hall, chefs from 48 area eateries ensured no one left wanting more.
With the Delaneys performing on the lower level and the Kevin Howard Quartet jamming upstairs, the masses grazed their way through irresistible offerings from the likes of Brian Pekarcik (Spoon and BRGR), Derek Stevens (Eleven), Joseph Tambellini and Chef of the Year Justin Severino (Cure).
The event, which in part benefited the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank, also collected 15 boxes of non-perishable items for donation.
On the list were magazine publisher Betsy Benson, Maris Bondi, food bank CEO Lisa Scales, Rick Blatz, Lea Guarino, Bob and Annie Walsh, andLarry Holtz.
