David Palcho

  • Residence: Mt. Lebanon

  • Family: Wife, Jean, and son, Michael, 24, and daughter, Kathryn, 22

  • Occupation: Professor of English and education at Community College of Allegheny County. He's been teaching at the CCAC-North Campus in McCandless since 1983

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in English from Villanova University, and master's degree in education from Elmira College and master's degree in English from Carnegie Mellon University

  • Noteworthy: Palcho was recently named a 2002 National Institute for Staff and Organizational Development winner. The awards are given each year in recognition of teaching excellence at community colleges.
