The Rev. Dr. Donald B. Green Residence: McCandless Family: Wife, Kathy; daughter, Angela; sons, Jason and Benjamin; and grandson, Bradley William Green Occupation: Assistant to Bishop Donald McCoid, Southwestern Pennsylvania Synod, Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. Newsworthy: Green was named the executive director of the Council of Christian Associates, of the Christian Associates of Southwest Pennsylvania, effective Dec. 15. Education: He has a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Susquehanna University and a doctorate in ministry from the Lutheran Theological Seminary. Background: A native of York, Green is a member of the executive committee of the Religious Leadership Forum and has been an active participant in various interfaith dialogues. In his current position, he works in areas such as congregational support, mission planning and global mission education.
