I applaud the Trib’s editorial page for opposing the war in Iraq and endorsing Congressman John P. Murtha. It took guts for the Trib to take these positions, and I agree with both of them. I want to encourage the Trib’s columnists to write about the war in Iraq. I am a regular reader, but so far I have only seen columnist Bill Steigerwald take a stand on this issue. Finally, please stop the silly practice of labeling a page in the Sunday Opinion and Commentary section as “liberal commentary.” Have faith that your readers can distinguish good sense from nonsense. Besides, not all the nonsense is on the “liberal” page. David FultonMarion Center
