Singer Amy Colalella, 16, of Plum has advanced to the final round of the "Are You a Superstar?" national online talent search.

The contest is conducted by the Miley Cyrus fan club.

The winner of the next round, expected to be held Jan. 13, is to receive a recording contract and vocal coaching from Cyrus.

The final two contestants were announced Wednesday on www.mileycyrus.com , where the contestants' performance videos were aired.

"I am absolutely ecstatic. I can't believe it. I feel like I'm in a dream," Colalella says. "After a year of slowly narrowing it down (from almost 5,000 hopefuls), I cannot believe that there's only two of us left.

"This is unbelievable to me. The only greater Christmas present than this would be to win."
