West Deer
Driving under influence: A driver and three passengers are facing drug charges after police stopped a car along Saxonburg Boulevard last week.
Joseph Harris, 28, of Allison Park, was charged with driving while under the influence of a drug. He was also charged with having drug paraphernalia, driving while his license is suspended and vehicle code violations for bad tires and windshield obstruction.
Charged with having drugs and drug paraphernalia were: Mary Ida Faessel, 25, of Cheswick, Bryan Benjamin McKinney, 23, of the Gibsonia section of West Deer, and Dewayne Leonard Holloway Jr., 28, of Springdale.
Manor
Burglary: Brandon Michael McGuire, 18, of Market Street, Kittanning, is accused of breaking into a Park Avenue residence, state police said.
He was sent to the Armstrong County Prison in lieu of $10,000 bond.
Allegheny Township
Drunken driving: Jane B. Heenan, 49, of North Apollo, is charged with drunken driving after a one-car wreck Wednesday at Route 356.
Police said she had a .20 blood alcohol content test result.
Manor
Drunken driving: Michael Alan Brown, 39,of Kittanning is accused of driving the wrong way on Route 422 and nearly striking another motorist Sunday, state police said.
Brown then stopped along the side of the road but was impeding traffic.
He is charged with driving under the influence.
West Deer
No license: A Cheswick woman is charged with driving while her license is suspended and having drub paraphernalia.
Township police said they ordered Mandy Sue Summers, 26, to pull over on Grubbs Road Monday because she is wanted for an unrelated charge in Westmoreland County.
Summers allegedly gave the officer an alias before she was taken into custody. While that was happening, drug paraphernalia fell from her clothing, police said.
Summers is also charged with allowing her child to ride in her car without using a child safety seat.
Police said she is being held on detainers from Westmoreland County for failing to appear at hearings there.
