Police identify suspect in Edgewood bank robbery

Allegheny County police have identified a suspect sought in an armed robbery Saturday in Edgewood.

They said the suspect, Ricardo Nevel, 53, might be armed and dangerous. They described him as a black man standing about 6 feet 2 inches tall and weighing about 190 pounds. He has brown eyes, according to the police description.

Police have an arrest warrant for Nevel in connection with the robbery of the First Commonwealth Bank branch at in the 1100 block of South Braddock Avenue. They are asking anyone with information to call 911 or county police at (412) 473-3000.
