Police investigate Penn Hills shooting

Allegheny County Police were investigating the shooting of a man in Penn Hills on Saturday.

The man was shot in the chest in the 9000 block of Paul Avenue, near Palm Street at about 2 p.m.

Neighbors said they saw the man lying in the street and said he was taken away by ambulance. The man, who was not identified, was transported to UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, an 911 dispatcher said.
