The following reports were issued by the state police:

BETHEL -- A Ford City man (not identified by police) faces charges of driving under the influence, pending laboratory results, after he was riding a motorcycle on Spruce Hollow Road near Route 472, at 10:22 p.m. Thursday and struck a deer on the roadway. The operator was thrown from the motorcycle and later flown by medical helicopter to Allegheny General Hospital from ACMH Hospital.

ETNA (Allegheny County) -- A Kittanning man, James A. Manuel, 61, escaped injury after police said his vehicle struck the rear of a vehicle driven by Natalya Y. Frolova, 32, of Pittsburgh, while driving on Route 28 at Exit 5 at 6:20 p.m. Thursday. Frolova was uninjured.

EAST FRANKLIN -- Dustin R. Thomas, 19, of NuMine, faces charges of retail theft after police said he attempted to steal a wireless FM transmitter after removing the item from packaging at WalMart and attempting to leave the store. He was apprehended by store security personnel at 5:45 p.m. Thursday.

WASHINGTON -- Laura Wolfe, 78, of Old Reesdale Road, Adrian, was the victim of identity theft after her personal information was used to open a Verizon residential account in November, 2003. The account was closed in 2007 after a suspect (not identified by police) failed to pay a final bill amounting to $121.11 on May 3, 2007. An investigation is continuing, police said.

FRAZER (Allegheny County) -- Martha K. Butler, 56, of Kittanning was not injured when she lost control of her vehicle on Route 28 near Exit 12A and it skidded from the right lane into the left lane, across to the right lane, struck a construction barrel and a sign and stopped in the grass medial strip at 3:10 p.m. Friday.

WEST FRANKLIN -- Trista Pyle, 20, of Worthington said Kayla Blackledge, 20, of Worthington damaged the side passenger mirror of her vehicle at MAK Square at 4:45 a.m. Thursday, police said.

MANOR -- Brock Landon Fleeger, 21, of Kittanning was stopped for multiple traffic violations at 1 a.m. Saturday at the Route 422, Route 66 split and was suspected of driving under the influence. Charges are pending laboratory results, police said.

KITTANNING TWP. -- Jason Lee Wyant, 25, of Kittanning was stopped on Route 422 for numerous traffic violations and subsequently arrested for driving under the influence at 1:20 a.m. Saturday.

EAST FRANKLIN -- The Sky Kings (radio controlled model airplane club) at 345 Adrian Road, had gasoline stolen and damage done to its field between 3 p.m. Friday and 12:45 p.m. Saturday.

EAST FRANKLIN -- Kevin Lee Bowser (no age listed by police) reported that his 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix was dented while parked at his residence on Old Butler Road between 10 p.m. Friday and 11 a.m. Saturday.

WASHINGTON -- A juvenile (not identified by police) faces charges of terroristic threats after police said that Christopher J. Shaffer, 20, and Tiffany Leigh Croyle, 19, both of Adrian and Alexander G. Cousins, 41, of Cowansville, were threatened with bodily harm and a death threat was made against them at 5:40 p.m. Thursday.

COWANSHANNOCK -- Approximately 250 gallons of diesel fuel, valued at $1,085, was stolen from the Cowanshannock Township equipment shed between noon, June 6 and 3 p.m. Friday.

COWANSHANNOCK -- Donald Smith, owner of the Company Store in NuMine, told police that approximately 100 feet of copper entrance cable, valued at $500, was stolen from his business between noon, June 10 and 3 p.m. Friday.

BETHEL -- Jeremiah Anderson, 33, and Mike Lee Skursky, 34, both of Vandergrift, were each charged with harassment after police were called to 245 Spruce Hollow Road and said the two men had engaged in a physical confrontation.

EAST FRANKLIN -- Police are investigating a hit and run crash that happened on Wible Road just south of Parkview Drive at 3 a.m. Sunday. Police said the driver of a 2005 Ford F-150 pickup truck was traveling downhill at an unsafe speed in fog and on a wet roadway when the vehicle crossed the centerline into the southbound lane. The vehicle then swerved and slid at 180-degrees clockwise, left the roadway and struck an embankment. The truck traveled about 15 feet up the embankment then rolled down to the roadway. The driver then fled the scene.
