Police Report
The following reports were issued by state police:
EAST FRANKLIN -- Jeremy Leroy Shankle, 31, of 133 Main St., Elderton, remained in the Armstrong County Jail Wednesday after he was arrested Sunday on charges of disorderly conduct, public drunkenness, harassment and resisting arrest. Police said Shankle was found to be intoxicated while at the Pizza Hut restaurant at Hilltop Plaza at 9:45 p.m. Sunday. Police said he was shouting, using foul language and struck John Omasta, 19, of Rural Valley. Police said Shankle was detained until officers arrived and became unruly while being placed into custody. Police had to further restrain Shankle after he kicked the seats and struck his head on the window of the police vehicle. Shankle was arraigned by District Judge Sam Goldstrohm and is being held on $20,000 bond.
EAST FRANKLIN -- Michael White, 32, of Adrian, was charged with driving under the influence Tuesday after an incident in which he was found passed out behind the wheel of his vehicle while at the drive-thru window at McDonald's in Franklin Village Mall at 4:15 a.m. April 6.
BRADYS BEND -- Several people were charged Monday after two altercations at a residence along Route 68 between 11:30 a.m. and 5:50 p.m. Jan. 13. In the first incident, Nicholas Campbell, 25, of Butler, was involved in a physical altercation with Nicole Cloak, 19, of Kittanning, at the residence at 11:30 a.m. Police said Cloak left the residence and returned at 5:50 p.m. with Brett Cloak, 45, and Randall Cloak Jr., 47, both of Kittanning. Police said another altercation occurred in which the Brett Cloak allegedly brandished a handgun toward Campbell. David Pistorius, 28, of Butler, who was also involved in the incident, fled before police arrived and was later arrested for having outstanding arrest warrants from Butler County and from the state parole office. On Monday, police charged Campbell with three counts of harassment, charged Brett Cloak with simple assault and harassment, charged Nicole Cloak with harassment and charged Randall Cloak with harassment.
EAST FRANKLIN -- Natasha Sellers, 20, of Kittanning, faces underage drinking charges after she was causing a disturbance at a location along Brice Lane at 12:05 a.m. April 27 and was found to be intoxicated, police said.
MONROE (Clarion County) -- Donald Weibel, 44, of East Brady, was arrested on assault charges and placed in the Clarion County Jail after he attempted to strike Martin Weibel, 43, of Clarion, with a metal baseball bat during an altercation at a residence along Bodenhorn Road at 4:50 p.m. Sunday, police said. Martin Weibel suffered minor injuries in the incident, police said.
PARKS -- Randall Riggle, 54, of Vandergrift, was cited for harassment after he phoned Brendan Beck, 33, of Vandergrift, at his Clarks Lane residence and threatened him at 9:30 p.m. Sunday, police said.
RAYBURN -- Charles E. Gazzerano, 38, of Apollo, was charged Tuesday with harassment after he was involved in an altercation with Mark Dongilli, 22, of Kittanning, while at Teasers dance club along Clearfield Pike at 1:45 a.m. Jan. 15. Police said Dongilli was struck in the head during the incident and that Gazzerano left the scene.
PLUMCREEK -- Tracy Lynn Buskey, 35, of Ford City, reported that a lock was cut off a gate on her property along Muskrat Slide Road on Tuesday.
BOGGS -- Judy L. Linkes, 57, of Leechburg, reported that a window was broken in a door at a residence along Dill Road between midnight April 28 and 11 a.m. May 1. Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 724-543-2011.
SOUTH BEND -- Dennis E. Baker, 41, of Avonmore, faces theft charges after he removed an electrical meter from the side of his Olivet Road residence and used power at his residence between April 17 and May 2. Police said the power supplied was provided by REA Energy Cooperative of Indiana.
