The following reports were issued by the state police:
SALTSBURG (Indiana County) -- A 22-year-old Apollo man, not identified by police, is the subject of an investigation after he allegedly called a cell phone belonging to Shaleena Rugh, 21, of Saltsburg 17 times between 9 and 10 p.m. Saturday. Police said the calls consisted of name calling and harassing statements.
SUGARCREEK -- A two-vehicle crash sent four people to the hospital and took the life of an unborn baby. Police said Sheila Altman, 52, of Ford City was driving on Route 268, 1/2 -mile north of Browns Crossing, when her vehicle collided head on with a vehicle driven by Shennel Crawford, 23, of East Brady at 9:52 p.m. Friday. Altman and Crawford sustained moderate injuries. Daniel Bragg, 32, of Ford City, a passenger in Altman's vehicle and a 1 1/2 -year-old male, a passenger in Crawford's vehicle both sustained injuries. Police said three of the four people were flown to Pittsburgh hospitals, but did not specify which persons they were. A fourth person was transported to ACMH Hospital. Police said that Crawford was 8 months pregnant and due to complications from the crash the baby was pronounced dead at Mercy Hospital's prenatal care unit at 8 a.m. Dec. 1. East Brady, Sugarcreek and Kittanning EMS and fire departments from East Franklin, Sugarcreek and Chicora responded to the scene.
WEST KITTANNING -- A 44-year-old Kittanning female, not identified by police, was stopped for a traffic violation at Pine Hill Road and Northern Avenue at 11:22 p.m. Saturday and subsequently charged with driving under the influence. The case is pending blood test results.
WEST KITTANNING -- A 15-year-old Kittanning youth was charged with harassment after he allegedly threw fake blood at the 230 Cleveland St. residence of Dawn Renee Andryka at 7 p.m. Saturday.
PARKS -- Rosalie L. Brumbaugh, 51, of 708 Painter Ave., Ford Cliff was driving on Route 2066, near Route 2036 at 6:45 a.m. Saturday when her vehicle struck a deer. Police reported no injuries to either Brumbaugh or a passenger, Kayla Gauker, 20, of 209 Keystone Blvd., Kittanning.
ARMSTRONG TOWNSHIP (Indiana County) -- Larry Yurga (no age listed by police) of Creekside, allegedly threatened Craig Cousins, (no age listed by police) of Shelocta, with physical harm at noon, Nov. 25 at 1816 Sportsman Club Road.
MANOR -- Bradley Edward Hobaugh, 49, of 306 Garretts Run Road told police that his residence was broken into at 2 p.m. Friday and several items (not listed by police) were stolen.
SOUTH BUFFALO -- The driver of a green, Jeep Cherokee allegedly struck a vehicle driven by Elizabeth Shumaker, 50, of Manorville, from the rear then fled the scene at 11:20 p.m. Friday on Route 28 North. Shumaker's vehicle sustained minor damage but was driven from the scene. No injuries were reported. The Jeep exited Route 28 at the Slate Lick exit.
CLARION TOWNSHIP (Clarion County) -- Kara Ortman, 18, of Ford City was stopped for a traffic violation while driving on Route 1007 near Exit 64, at 1:10 a.m. Friday, and subsequently arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.
BETHEL -- Ricky Alan Groncki, 50, of Lower Burrell, was arrested on charges of public drunkenness and disorderly conduct after police found him passed out in a parking lot at Kelly Station Campground at 4:30 p.m. Saturday. Police said they were called to the campground on a report that Groncki was highly intoxicated, causing a disturbance and annoying other campers. When they arrived on scene they said they found him passed out in 30-degree weather.
