Greensburg troopers reports April stats
State police at the Greensburg barracks reported a response to 1,832 incidents during April, including 346 cases involving a criminal offense. Police arrested 159 people as a result of cases involving criminal activity. Police also responded to 197 crashes in April, including 13 incidents stemming from someone who was suspected of driving under the influence of alcohol. Overall, police made 24 arrests for DUI. Police issued 1,014 traffic citations in April.
NHT police release monthly report
North Huntingdon Township police reported 4,441 dispatch calls during April and 1,067 service calls.
Police investigated the following incidents: 25 thefts, 23 criminal mischiefs, 29 dangerous conditions, 16 domestics, five burglaries, three auto thefts, six driving under the influence, 19 disturbances, two liquor law violations, 30 non-traffic citations, five ordinance citations, 34 other arrests, 28 K-9 deployments, seven non-aggravated assaults.
Police also reported 194 Rescue 8 calls and two fire calls.
Officers investigated 196 traffic violations and 29 crashes, which included 15 reportable accidents. Cruisers logged 19,125 miles during the month.
Kiski troopers issue numbers for April
State police at the Kiski Valley barracks reported a response to 354 incidents during April, including 91 cases involving a criminal offense. Police arrested 43 people as a result of cases involving criminal activity. Police also responded to 19 crashes in April, including five incidents stemming from someone who was suspected of driving under the influence of alcohol. Overall, police made seven arrests for DUI. Police issued 384 traffic citations in April.
