Police say Apollo man held knife to woman’s throat
An Apollo man is in jail after police said he held a knife to a woman’s throat and threatened to kill her.
Travis Hartill, 23, is charged by Washington Township police with aggravated assault, terroristic threats, simple assault, reckless endangerment, harassment, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness.
In a report, police said Hartill held the knife to the throat of a woman they did not identify and threatened to kill her 2 a.m. Sunday at an unspecified address on King Arthur Drive. Police said they were responding to a domestic dispute at the address.
The woman was not injured, according to police.
Hartill fled before police arrived but was located a short distance from the residence. He was arraigned before Washington Township District Judge Elise Glenn and placed in the county jail in lieu of $25,000 bond.
Hartill faces a preliminary hearing 10 a.m. Dec. 6 before Glenn.
