A woman who was shot on Monday in Larimer is expected to make a full recovery, Pittsburgh Public Safety spokeswoman Sonya Toler said.
The shooting is believed to have occurred around 4:10 p.m. as the 25-year-old woman was riding in a sport utility vehicle near the intersection of Larimer Avenue and Joseph Street, Toler said.
The woman walked into UPMC Shadyside hospital, where city paramedics were called to take her to the trauma center at UPMC Presbyterian hospital in Oakland, Toler said.
“She is now in stable condition and expected to make a full recovery,” Toler said Monday night.
