Polyurethane Process Industries LLC of Lloydsville will move to larger quarters in Hempfield to accommodate the needs of its growing customer base, a company representative said.

Mark Clark, PPI founder and general manager, said the company will move from its 4,000-square-foot Unity Street plant to a 6,000-square-foot site along Roseytown Road, effective on Monday.

PPI, which has nine employees, provides new and rebuilt processing equipment, parts and repairs to manufacturers of polyurethane foam for the automotive, refrigeration, heating and ventilation, transportation, construction and health care industries. The firm is the exclusive U.S. distributor of polyurethane manufacturing equipment and systems supplied by Impianti OMS S.p.A. of Italy.

The new facility in Hempfield will house a demonstration area for the OMS Group's polyurethane metering equipment in addition to more office space and a larger parts warehouse and repair shop.

Clark said he does not anticipate any disruption in service with the move.
