Penn State announced a second chance of sorts Thursday, a fantasy football camp for men 22 years of age and older who always wanted to play for the Nittany Lions, but never got the chance. The first edition will run from June 14-18, 2006, which one of the organizers observed is Father’s Day weekend. To send dad away to this camp will cost $4,490, with the enrollment limited to 50. Campers will stay at the Nittany Lion Inn, participate in two-a-day practices and climax the experience with a flag football game in Beaver Stadium. They also will leave with a duffel bag full of game uniforms and other apparel, along with a video of the game and team photo. Information is available by calling 817-326-3578 or on the web site www.PennStatefantasycamp.com.
