Natural gas producer Range Resources Corp. on Friday donated $100,000 to the Dollar Energy Fund to provide utility assistance grants for families living in Washington County. The donation, believed to be the largest non-utility grant ever made to the nonprofit hardship fund, coincides with Fort Worth, Texas-based Range reaching the 100 million cubic feet per day production milestone taken from its Western Pennsylvania natural gas holdings. The company's regional headquarters is located in Washington County.
