• A March opening -- at Mardi Gras time -- is scheduled for Nola, a restaurant in Market Square in the former 1902 Landmark Tavern, Nick Nicholas, the building's owner, said. Yves Carreau, owner of Sonoma and Seiche restaurants on Penn Avenue, will open Nola, which will feature New Orleans and French bistro foods. Nola stands for New Orleans, La. There will be two storerooms vacant in the square. One is the former Jenny Lee Bakery, whose recent occupants, Mancini's Bread and Prantl's Bakery, have moved to a location adjacent to the Buhl Building. Pittsburgh History & Landmarks Foundation is seeking a tenant for the former Ciao Baby restaurant site in the square.

• Mike McMullen has leased the former Colony Restaurant from Ed Dunlap's Culinary Concepts of Pittsburgh and will open his second Andora Restaurant there this month or early next month. His original restaurant is in the North Hills. McMullen and his partners will locate a catering service there.

• America Carpet South has leased 10,274 square feet of warehouse space at Hope Hollow Road, Carnegie, for three years. David L. DiCola, associate broker, PRC Commercial, represented Hope Properties, the owner. Adam Viccaro of Fischer Co. represented the tenant.

• Fusion Japanese Steakhouse, which has a liquor license, will open early next year in the former Cucuzza Bella restaurant in Trinity Point shopping center, South Strabane, Washington County.

• Cumberland Woods Village, a University of Pittsburgh Medical Center independent living senior community, has opened on the campus of UPMC Pasavant Hospital in the North Hills. With 99 units, the facility offers one- and two-bedroom apartments, underground parking, two restaurants and The Lodge, a 250-seat theater and conference center. The complex is pet friendly.

Transactions

• Pittsburgh Terminals Corp. sold a truck terminal at 9 Thorn St., Moon, to Corapolis Terminals Corp. for $3.7 million, according to a deed filed in Allegheny County. Signing for both seller and buyer was John M. Arnold, president of both corporations.

• Cedar Run Farms LLC, consisting of Dana A. Friday and Gabrielle R. Martini, has purchased a 37-acre farm at 1115 Cedar Run Rd., Indiana Township, from Stephen F. and Sandra L. Ford Jr. for $1.13 million, according to a deed filed in Allegheny County.

• The Greenway Park apartment complex in the Chartiers-Crafton Heights area has been sold by Greenway Park Investors LLC to Greenway Park Estates LP for $2.02 million. The complex consists of three apartment buildings, according to the Allegheny County website.
