Actress Melissa Peterman of the WB’s “Reba” and her actor husband John Brady have welcomed their first child, People magazine reported Friday. Peterman gave birth to an 8-pound, 8-ounce son at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, a rep for the couple told People. “Mother and baby are doing well and resting at the hospital,” the rep said. Peterman’s character, Barbara Jean, is married to Reba’s ex-husband on the show. She has been in several films, including “Fargo” and “Recipe for Disaster,” and the TV shows “Just Shoot Me” and “The Pitts.” © Copyright 2005 by United Press International
