Supermodel-turned-actress Rebecca Romijn says she never weighs herself or even owns a scale.

The former wife of actor John Stamos and current financee of actor Jerry O'Connell tells the April issue of InStyle magazine she had to lose weight for her role as Mystique in the "X-Men" films.

"I never step on the scale. I don't even own one, so it was awful reading in the tabloids about my weight gain: 'She ballooned from 125 pounds to 150 pounds,'" the New York Post quotes her as saying.

"I needed to lose around 15 pounds, but I was never worried about it, and I'm not trying to lose weight now."

Romijn also told the magazine she has a good relationship with her ex-husband.

"We have a lot of love for each other," she said.
