Pittsburgh Filmmakers and Pittsburgh Center for the Arts are improving equipment and facilities with a $75,000 challenge grant from the Allegheny Regional Asset District.

The Filmmakers' Regent Square Theater is upgrading its projection system to show high-definition digital movies with digital sound. The center has repaired the roofs of the Scaife and Marshall buildings and the exterior masonry of Scaife and are replacing the heating and cooling units on Marshall.

The Eden Hall, Mary Hillman Jennings and Katherine Mabis McKenna foundations also contributed to these improvements.
