I know the fall political campaigns haven't started yet, but there is no time like the present to get registered. Anyone from the ages of 18 to 100-plus needs to do this.
You have until Oct. 5 to submit the form and get it done. If you do it now, you won't have to run around like a chicken with your head cut off come deadline.
For many people, this will be their first time. Make a change and do the right thing. It is your civic duty to vote.
People who don't vote don't have any say in anything the candidates do or say. It is time to make your voice heard with the next election in November. And this registration makes people eligible to vote for president in 2016.
The upcoming election may not seem like a big deal, but in your communities it is big. We are electing mayors, school boards, commissioners, judges and others.
If you're seeking to make a change, then you have the power to do so only if you're registered. So please do your part and register to vote.
