Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora has asked a Los Angeles court to uphold his 1994 prenuptial agreement with soon-to-be ex-wife Heather Locklear. In documents filed in Los Angeles Superior Court, Sambora requested he be absolved of paying any spousal support to his actress wife and that the couple share custody of their daughter, Ava, 8, People magazine reported Thursday. Locklear sought sole physical custody of Ava in her filing last month with visitation rights for Sambora. Her divorce petition also cited the prenuptial agreement and asked the court to abide by the agreement when dividing assets. This was the first marriage for Sambora, 46, who was once linked with Cher, and the second for Locklear, 44, who was married to Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee for nearly eight years. © Copyright 2006 by United Press International
