I am writing to thank Congressman Mike Doyle for casting a vote against drilling in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge. Politicians are often criticized for voting against the public interest, but it is equally important to give them the credit they deserve when they do the right thing for the general public.

The Arctic Refuge was created to preserve this unique area for generations to come. Drilling for oil would irreparably alter this pristine landscape.
