Robert Morris coach Mike Rice announced Tuesday the signing of two players for the 2010-11 recruiting class: Brook Turson of Plymouth High School (Ohio) and Malcolm Lemmons of Gonzaga College High School (Washington).

Turson is a 6-foot-3 guard who averaged 20.8 points, 9.9 rebounds, 5.6 assists and 3 steals per game during his career, including 22.3 points and 10.4 rebounds per game as a junior.

"Brook is a versatile guard whose biggest strength is his knowledge and feel for the game of basketball," Rice said. "He's having a record-breaking career at Plymouth, and he's an individual that we feel is going to make an immediate impact next year. Even though he is a scorer, one of his best attributes is that he's a tough, hard-nosed player that's a throwback and makes the players around him better."

Lemons, a 6-5, forward, averaged 8.6 points, 7.2 rebounds and 2.4 steals per game as a junior.

"Malcolm is another versatile athlete, and his strength is that he will be able to guard multiple positions," Rice said. "He'll fit in athletically and physically in our system. Having played for a nationally recognized program at Gonzaga, we feel he can come in and play right away."
