To the Editor:

Wow! Did someone slip something into Nikki Sheppick's coffee cup• Robin Hood and the Sheriff of Nottingham• That was almost better than Soundoff.

The fact is no one likes anyone who forces him or her to pay for anything. That is until they need a policeman or the street fixed or a judge, and the list goes on. Since I'm not Peter Pan and don't live in Ms. Sheppick's land of kings and castles it's a little hard to figure from the real world what she meant. I will say this much, when she worked for a state agency the evil tax pilfering bodies were paying her salary and that didn't seem to be a problem. When she ran for a county office I didn't hear her say she would be Robin Hood and give back her pay to the well deserved. The numerous organizations she is involved in often ask for grants from the "unjust taxation" pool of money. Oh, but that's right É she gets to decide what's good and evil. If she can use it for her cause it's good.

In closing let me just say I'm more of a 'Shrek' guy than Robin Hood myself. Bald ugly guy gets the girl -- hope springs eternal.
