Rolling Rock Town Fair sets lineup

The lineup of bands for the fifth edition of Rolling Rock Town Fair has been announced.

Staind, Disturbed, N.E.R.D., The Crystal Method, Hoobastank, Sevendust, Finch, Finger Eleven and Three Days Grace are among the bands scheduled to perform July 31 at the Westmoreland Fairgrounds, in Mt. Pleasant Township.

The 10-hour show will start at 10:15 a.m. Tickets are $49. A sale date has not been announced.

For the first time this year, Town Fair will stop in Boston, Philadelphia and Seattle for smaller shows before the finale at the fairgrounds. The shows in other cities will be about five hours, according to Leslie Liberatore, a Rolling Rock spokeswoman.

The concert at the Westmoreland Fairgrounds will again use a turntable stage that allows one act to set up backstage while another band is playing.

The festival returns to the fairgrounds after moving to Heinz Field last summer. In 2002, about 40,000 attended the event, which featured Godsmack, Outkast and Nickelback.
