Route 8 bridge inspection begins Wednesday

An inspection of the bridge that carries Route 8 over the Allegheny River in Pittsburgh and Sharpsburg will result in lane closures, PennDOT said.

Inspections will occur between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. on weekdays from Wednesday through Feb. 10.
