Sgt. Ryan Hill, 26, of Belle Vernon, is serving in the Persian Gulf region with the U.S. Army 32nd Battalion Signal Corps. A Belle Vernon Area High School graduate, he has been in the U.S. Army for five years. He is the son of Howard and Nancy Hill, of Belle Vernon. He is married to Tammy Hill and has two stepsons, Joe and Jeremy. His brothers are in the military: Sgt. 1st Class Lee Hill is in the Army. Senior Airman Eric Hill is in the Air Force.
