The article, "Armor of God" (May 15) told only part of the story about Sarah Young.

When Sarah first made rosary beads for our overseas troops, she tried to find a way to ensure they ended up in soldiers' hands. She was stonewalled due to regulations on religious items for troops, but that did not stop this little believer. Through determination, faith and the support of two amazing parents, Sarah kept working and found the answer. She did not back down and never shied from filling a need.

Her homemade and blessed rosaries are with soldiers currently in the battlefield, active duty soldiers serving stateside, West Point cadets preparing for the future; wounded warriors from the Iraq and Afghanistan wars and veterans who have finished serving. Now she and her family have joined "Team Red, White and Blue," a veteran support organization that helps reintegrate wounded veterans back into society.

Oh, that we all would be as compassionate, driven, dedicated, patriotic, faithful and loving as Sarah Young!
