Crafton officials are continuing to search for a new manager.

Council voted unanimously to terminate a contract with Resource Development and Management Inc. as of Dec. 15.

RDM, under senior project manager Robert Callen, was retained as the borough's interim manager following Doug Sample's resignation on July 7.

Sample left the borough to take a similar position in Bellevue.

President Dan Cindric said RDM was hired to take the borough through the end of the 2011 budget planning process. Council is expected to approve a preliminary budget this month and a final budget in December.

Cindric and Vice President Susan Viola are leading the search to permanently replace Sample.
