Second 'reality' couple tie televised knot
Reality TV veterans Rob Mariano and Amber Brkich have reportedly taken a love of cameras to the next level, marrying on-camera for a CBS special.
The couple first met on "Survivor: All-Stars" where Brkich won, and Mariano proposed to her during the live finale of that show. The couple is also running on "The Amazing Race," and performing well enough to lead to speculation they may win yet another big money prize.
But the New York Daily News said the couple married during the weekend at the Atlantis resort at Paradise Island in the Bahamas, with the ceremony captured on video for broadcast.
The two-hour CBS special, "Rob and Amber Get Married," will include a behind-the-scenes look at their wedding preparations when it airs May 24.
Guests attending the nuptials were required to sign confidentiality agreements, the New York Post said.
The first reality couple to marry was Trista Rehn and Ryan Sutter, who met on ABC's "The Bachelorette." Their courtship played out on the dating series and their wedding was a full-blown event on ABC in prime time.
