"Seinfeld's" legendary "Soup Nazi" -- Chef Al Yeganeh -- is opening a new restaurant in the heart of New York.

On "Seinfeld," the character based on Yeganeh yelled "no soup for you!" if his trembling customers did not pay fast enough.

"The Original SoupMan" flagship restaurant is scheduled to open in Midtown Manhattan Nov. 2, the New York Post reported Tuesday.

Yeganeh closed his last restaurant about a year ago, the Post noted.

Although Yeganeh has blamed "Seinfeld" for ruining his life with the "Soup Nazi" label, he is poised to parlay his notoriety into a multimillion-dollar franchise, with plans for 150 branches nationwide and 1,000 restaurants worldwide.
