”Dateline D.C.” reported Aug. 19: ‘Probably, the most serious damage that (Clinton) did to our country was not the sell-out to China for campaign money but the pardons for sale with which he ended his damaging eight years.’ Huh⢠Without excusing the sale of freedom to criminals, how can this possibly be worse than committing treason – selling our nuclear secrets to the one real (remaining) enemy to our nation⢠Worse than the criminal rape of one or two U.S. citizens (and the philosophical rape of the rest of us)⢠While unpalatable, his last-minute actions at least were within reach of the Constitution’s boundaries, while his other acts clearly flouted his oath of office – and showed nothing but contempt for that fine document itself.
