Everyone likes to reminisce about the good old days.
Of course, we know some were better than others, but even when you hear people talking about how difficult times were during The Great Depression, you get an impression that it was a time filled with romance and cohesion, neighborliness and toughing it out.
Sure, it was rough to make ends meet, but somehow, most people squeaked through - if only by the skin of their teeth.
There are other great memories from other decades, and we want to hear all about the products from days gone by, including those mentioned in the accompanying quiz.
We would like readers to take this fun quiz, courtesy of the Mount Olive Pickle Co., Mount Olive, N.C., then call Barbara Daugherty with some remembrances of days of yore. (She promises not to laugh at you. She remembered 23 of 24.) Call her at (724) 226-4665 or toll-free at 1-877-698-2553.
