Quarterback Rocco Colavecchia threw for 274 yards and two touchdowns Monday night to lead Shenango (4-1, 3-1) to the Tri-County North victory against Union (0-5, 0-5), 32-0. Ryan Tanner added 83 rushing yards and two touchdowns for Shenango, and Luke O'Hara caught three passes for 104 yards and a score.

Girls soccer Seneca Valley 2, North Allegheny 0 Seneca Valley (11-2-1, 7-1-1) recorded its ninth shutout of the season in the Section 2-AAA game against visiting North Allegheny (8-4-2, 4-3-1). Karissa Fernandez and Courtney Leon scored the goals as Seneca Valley outshot North Allegheny, 24-5. Baldwin 1, Bethel Park 0 Baldwin (8-5-1, 5-4-1) forward Rachel Zotter scored the only goal in the Section 4-AAA victory against Bethel Park (8-3-3, 6-2-2). Quaker Valley 4, Bishop Canevin 0 No. 2-ranked Quaker Valley (10-1, 9-0) recorded its eighth shutout of the season in its Section 2-AA victory against Bishop Canevin (8-4-1, 4-3-1). . Moon 5, Keystone Oaks 0 Moon (10-1-2, 7-1-2) defeated Section 4-AAA opponent Keystone Oaks (3-10, 3-7) for the fourth shutout in the past five games for Moon. South Fayette 14, Bentworth 0 Leah Panich, Tracey Shannow, Sarah Wisniewski and Hilary Ford scored two goals each for South Fayette (10-2, 6-0) in its Section 1-AA win over Bentworth (1-9, 1-5). Goaltender, Stephanie Kidzuf recorded her sixth shutout of the season. Penn-Trafford 6, Greensburg Salem 0 Deanna Rowe scored three goals for Penn-Trafford (11-1-2, 9-1) in their Section 1-AAA shutout victory over Greensburg Salem (3-8-1, 2-8). Oakland Catholic 3, Plum 2 (2 OT) Claire Gehrety scored the game winning goal for Oakland Catholic (8-3-1, 7-3) in double overtime against Plum (6-4-1, 5-4-1) to give the Eagles the victory in Section 3-AAA. Avonworth 1, Our Lady of Sacred Heart 0 Jessica Stubbs scored on a direct kick in the second half to give Avonworth (5-6, 2-5) the victory over OLSH (4-7, 2-7) in Section 2-AA. Ky Plocinik had 21 saves for OLSH in the defeat. Springdale 6, Valley 1 Freshman forward Brittany Loveland scored three goals for Springdale (8-3-1, 5-3-1) in the win over Valley (1-11, 1-7) in Section 3-AA. Penn Hills 1, Gateway 0 Emily Prokopik scored the lone goal of the game in Penn Hills (8-4-1, 7-3) victory over Gateway (3-6-3, 3-5-1). Jackie Gribbon recorded the shuout for Penn Hills in the Section 3-AAA matchup. Hopewell 2, Mount Lebanon 1 Chelsey Haney scored both goals for Hopewell (8-4-2, 6-2-2) in their Section 4-AAA win over fifth ranked Mount Lebanon (8-3-2, 7-2-1). Waynesburg Central 4, Uniontown 1 Malody Cox scored three goals to lead Waynesburg Central (9-4, 7-3) over Uniontown (3-10, 2-8) in the Section 6-AAA matchup. The ninth win of the season gives Waynesburg Central its first season with more than eight wins. Quigley 3, Beaver 0 Quigley (12-0, 9-0) remained undefeated after beating Beaver (5-7, 5-4) in the Section 5-AA game. Samantha Regney scored two goals, giving her 25 on the season. McGuffey 3, Chartiers Houston 0 Shelby Ward scored two goals for McGuffey (6-2-1, 6-1) in the Section 1-AA win over Chartiers Houston (4-10-1, 4-3). McGuffey recorded their sixth shutout of the year. Canon-McMillan 2, Chartiers Valley 1 (2 OT) Canon McMillan's Taylor Schram scored four miuntes into the second overtime to give them the win over Section 5-AAA opponent Chartiers Valley (2-9-2, 2-7-1). Canon McMillan (7-7, 5-5) has undefeated and third ranked Peters Township up next. Upper St. Clair 10, West Mifflin 1 Upper St. Clair (8-3-1, 8-1-1) beat West Mifflin (2-12-1, 1-9) in a Section 5-AAA matchup. Upper St. Clair has won three straight since back-to-back shutout loses.

Latrobe 5, Hempfield 0

Brianna Bell scored three goals and Amanda Suchko added two to help give the Hempfield girls soccer team a victory over Latrobe in Section 1-AAA action Monday. It is the second time this season that Hempfield has shut out the Wildcats. Goalkeepers Kirstie Mills and Cassie Overly combined for the shutout for Hempfield. The Spartans are 12-3 overall and 8-2 in section play, while Latrobe falls to 2-10, 1-9.

Jeannette 4, Monessen 2 Briana Shrum and Kristie Cortazzo each scored two goals apiece to lead Jeannette past Monessen in Section 1-AA action. Norwin 3, Indiana 0

Jill Miller scored two goals and Dani McLaughlin added one, as Norwin (13-1) defeated Indiana in a Section 1-AAA match.

Boys soccer Thomas Jefferson 6, Ringgold 2 Mike Pappas scored three goals for Thomas Jefferson (10-2-1) in the Section 3-AA victory over Ringgold (4-8, 2-6). With the victory Thomas Jefferson remains undefeated in section play.

Girls tennis Maria Iovino, Ashley Bauer and Casey Hufnagel won in singles action to lead Penn-Trafford (5-3, 5-3) past Hempfield, 3-2, in a Section 1-AAA match.

Boys golf Jordan Jones shot a 1-under-par 35 at the Norvelt Golf Course to boost Mt. Pleasant (11-2,11-1) over Albert Gallatin, 210-218, in a Division 1, Section 2 match. Nick Samples led Albert Gallatin with a 38.
