Shooting under investigation at Indiana apartment complex

One person was treated and released from a Pittsburgh hospital, after being shot at an Indiana Borough apartment complex early Saturday.

Borough police along with state, Homer City, Blairsville and Indiana University of Pennsylvania police, responded to the Carriage House apartment complex just after 2 a.m. Saturday.

The victim, whose gender and age were not disclosed, first was taken to Indiana Regional Medical Center, then flown by helicopter to UPMC Presbyterian in Pittsburgh. Police said the victim wouldn't cooperate with the investigation, which is ongoing.

Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to contact police at 724-349-2121.
