There's never inhibition at the exhibition of Detroit's 6th annual Dirty Show but many find the erotic images no longer shocking.

The Dirty Show opened Friday for a three-day run at the Tangent Gallery in an abandoned neighborhood in Detroit's New Center area. The art features images of man and woman, man and man, woman and woman and every conceivable combination.

It has become a highly anticipated tradition among a variety of aficionados from throughout the United States, the Detroit Free Press said.

It would seem to be every voyeur's dream, except that with over-exposure comes numbness and now seems less outrageous than it used to, the Free Press said.

"It's sad," said Doug Bowen, a former Detroit artist. "Nothing's shocking anymore."
