A pharmacy that has been in business for nearly 50 years in Latrobe, Westmoreland County, has been absorbed into the pharmacy at Giant Eagle's Latrobe store.

Tracy and Leonard Rosky sold Mosso's to Giant Eagle Inc., and she will continue to work at the supermarket pharmacy full-time.

Changes in Medicare and insurance reimbursements make it hard for small, family-owned pharmacies to compete with chain drug stores, Rosky said.

Altman Business Solutions of Mt. Pleasant negotiated the sale.
